YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme 2020 In Andhra Pradesh [Eligibility Criteria, Documents]
The current Andhra Pradesh government, under the able leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy announced a new scheme that will benefit the needy farmers of the state. The YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme unveiled officially in June 2019, and the state authority implemented the scheme on October 2019. Every year, the beneficiaries will acquire Rs. 13,500 in their bank accounts under the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme. Additionally, the state will provide free electricity and improved irrigation facilities. Rs. 6000 will also be offers to the scheme beneficiaries as per the guidelines of PM Kisan Yojana.
Eligibility for application
- Legal residents of Andhra Pradesh – The primary eligibility to apply and get the benefits of this scheme is to be legal and permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
- Farmers who fall in the BPL category – If the interested applicant does not belong to the BPL group, then the state government will not grant the enrollment request. Belonging to the financially weak category is an important requirement.
- Small and marginal agricultural workers only – This scheme is not applicable for the rich farmers. It is necessary that the applicant belongs to the small or marginal categories to receive the perks of this agro-project.
- Applicable for tenant cultivators as well – Tenant farmers do not possess their own land and farm on the agricultural plot of another person. This is the only state sponsored agro-scheme that offers the benefits to such tenant ago-workers as well.
- Access to bank account – The Andhra Pradesh has highlighted that the financial grant will be transferred by DBT mode. Bank account based transfers allow transparency and eliminate chances of errors. Thus, if any farmer does not have a back account, then he will be barred from attaining the benefits of this scheme.
Documents necessary for application
- Residential certificate – All candidates, desirous of attaining the perks of this unique program must offer official documents, which support the residential claims of the applicants. These residential proofs must have been issued by the state government.
- Aadhar card – If the applicants want to become the beneficiaries of this agricultural project, then they must furnish a copy of their Aadhar Cards. It is a document that can support their identification claims.
- BPL certificate – If any applicant desires to be selected as the scheme beneficiary, then he must submit a copy of the BPL certificate.
- Documents issued by State Farmers Association – Only the State Farmers Association has the authority to issue documents, which highlight the category of the farmer. Thus, proper marginal or small category certificate must be submitted for scrutiny.
- Tenant-land owner agreement – If the applicant is a tenant farmer, then he must furnish a photocopy of the legal document that highlights that the land owners has given the candidate the permission to farm on the plot.
- Bank details – The applicant needs to attach the photocopy of the first page of the bank account passbook. It offers information like bank and branch address, the account number, IFSC code and the branch code.
The scheme guidelines highlight that the state government will offer financial grant to the beneficiaries. The money must be utilized to prepare the farm and arrange necessary tools to ensure a better Rabi and Kharif crop.
